The Empty Threats create a compelling mix of post-punk/noise-rock - combining the
experimental elements of modern post-punk with an 80s Australiana-rock sensibility for hooks; they have landed on a sound only they can claim.

The band has grown from local darlings to renowned national touring band to making
inroads internationally. Since 2021, they have played over 150 shows all over the state, several headline shows across the country while also appearing at festivals such as Camp A Low Hum (NZ) Yours & Owls Festival, WOMADelaide, Spin Off Festival and Bigsound.
